COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT 

The Community Engagement Coordinator works                                      
closely with Aboriginal Communities and other
HART Services teams to maintain and coordinate
services and broaden the reach to include special
needs groups:

  Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD)
  Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Intersex (LGBTI)

 Services Available 

  Individual and Medical Transport
  Group Transport and community events

 Funeral Transport Assistance 

Fuel assistance can be provided if the following criteria is met:

• Evidence of the funeral i.e. funeral notice published in newspaper or facebook
• Registration details of the vehicle travelling to the funeral 
• The number of people travelling in the vehicle to the funeral
• Minimum of 2 Aboriginal people over the age of 50yrs who are registered with HART Services must travel in the same vehicle
• Assistance must be arranged at least 2 days prior to when fuel is required
